I recognize that law enforcement agencies cannot tackle drug-related issues alone. I will actively engage with local police departments, community organizations, and health professionals to address drug-related issues collaboratively.

Regular meetings with other law enforcement agencies will allow us to share information, pool resources, and develop effective strategies to combat drug trafficking and abuse.

​

Education and prevention programs are pertinent in raising awareness about the dangers of opioids. This includes working with schools, community centers, and healthcare providers to disseminate accurate information. 

​

In addition to the comprehensive audit I will order for the jail, we will identify areas for improvement. This includes assessing rehabilitation programs, mental health services, and substance abuse treatment options. My office will closely monitor drug-related crime trends as data-driven insights will guide our strategies.

Focusing on early intervention programs for youth offenders will help prevent at-risk youth from falling into criminal behavior.
